SFAL ecosystem company to enable Japanese semiconductor industry.

Banashree RE System Pvt Ltd, a company within the Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) ecosystem, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Yamaya Electronics Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.

Banashree has developed ARCEL, a PPA-centric agentic AI EDA tool, along with its customized standard cell library, B-Lib. These patented solutions are design-independent, node-agnostic, and deliver significantly reduced turnaround time with zero verification overhead.

The company has secured multiple software and EDA tool patents in India in 2024 and is actively filing additional patents in Japan, Europe, and the United States.

This partnership will leverage Banashree's advanced semiconductor design technology to support Japanese semiconductor manufacturers, particularly benefiting companies pursuing advanced node technologies.

SFAL, supported by the IT BT Department, Karnataka, continues to strengthen India's semiconductor and electronics ecosystem by nurturing IP-driven, product-first deep tech startups.
